Get a clear over­view of the Pass­ive House stand­ard, cer­ti­fic­a­tion re­quire­ments and the vari­ous ele­ments to con­sider when design­ing and con­struct­ing Pass­ive House build­ings. By tak­ing this course you can start to pre­pare for the in­ter­na­tion­al Cer­ti­fied Pass­ive House De­sign­er ex­am or bet­ter fol­low along a Passive House tool workshop. Each course sub­-unit in­cludes a short video present­a­tion, fol­lowed by fur­ther ma­ter­i­al and a short quiz that you can take sev­er­al times. If you pass the fi­nal ex­am, you will re­ceive a cer­ti­fic­ate of at­tend­ance.

This course is offered by Peel Pass­ive House Con­sult­ing.

In this 3-month on­line course, par­ti­cipants will learn how to use PHP­Pv10 for res­id­en­tial build­ing design and cer­ti­fic­a­tion. Par­ti­cipants will be guided step-by-step through the rel­ev­ant work­sheets, while learn­ing the cor­rect con­ven­tions for meas­ure­ments and cal­cu­la­tions. A case study will provide par­ti­cipants with prac­tic­al ex­per­i­en­ce in com­plet­ing and doc­u­ment­ing PHP­Pv10 cal­cu­la­tions for build­ing cer­ti­fic­a­tion.

 

 

 

To en­roll, first cre­ate a Moodle ac­count. Once you are logged in on Moodle, click on the course to be re­dir­ec­ted to Payp­al. To ac­tiv­ate your dis­coun­ted ac­cess, please send proof of your stu­dent ID or iPHA Mem­ber­ship, along with con­tact in­form­a­tion to the Site Admin. You will then re­ceive an in­voice from the Pass­ive House In­sti­tu­te. Upon pay­ment, your lo­gin ac­cess will be sent to you. Please un­der­stand that your lo­gin data is for single-user ac­cess. In the case of sus­pi­cious lo­gins your ac­count may be sus­pen­ded.
