Be­come a Com­pon­ent As­sessor

"Com­pon­ent As­sessors" ad­vise product man­u­fac­tur­ers on how to im­prove pass­ive house com­pon­ents and sup­port them in sub­mit­ting doc­u­ments for the com­pon­ent cer­ti­fic­a­tion. The ad­di­tion­al cer­ti­fic­ate "Com­pon­ent As­sessor" is awar­ded by in­vit­a­tion of the Pass­ive House In­sti­tu­te and after con­clu­sion of a con­tract. It is only avail­able in Eng­lish and ini­tially only for the part "Thermal En­vel­ope".

Pre­re­quis­ites for the ac­quis­i­tion of the cer­ti­fic­ate are:

•     A val­id de­sign­er/con­sult­ant cer­ti­fic­ate
•     iPHA mem­ber­ship
•     In­de­pend­en­ce from product man­u­fac­tur­ers
•     At least three com­pon­ent cer­ti­fic­a­tions in close co­op­er­a­tion with the Pass­ive House In­sti­tu­te
•     Con­clu­sion of a con­tract with the Pass­ive House In­sti­tu­te

This ad­di­tion­al cer­ti­fic­ate is linked to a val­id Pass­ive House de­sign­er/con­sult­ant cer­ti­fic­ate and can only be used in con­junc­tion with a val­id Pass­ive House de­sign­er/con­sult­ant cer­ti­fic­ate.
