Passive House Award postponed until 2021!
Due to the current Covid-19 situation, we have decided to postpone the Passive House Award
to next year, 2021. As soon as the location and dates for next year's International Passive House
Conference have been determined, we will release a new schedule together with a new set of
Nevertheless, the portal for submissions will stay open, so participants can still submit their
buildings. The submission deadline is also extended accordingly until 2021.

International architectural competition for highly energy efficient buildings.
Building Passive means building better! In the face of advancing climate change, energy efficient building is now important than ever. The "2020 Passive House Award" will show how the Passive House standard can be implemented in an architecturally sophisticated and versatile way. The jury will pay particular attention to the integration of renewable energy in the projects.
The Passive House Institute is the organiser of the 2020 Passive House Award. An international jury will examine the entries and judge them on criteria such as design, cost-effectiveness, innovation, energy supply and sustainability.
The winners will be presented at an awards ceremony as part of the
25th Passive House Conference.
