+++ Conference Countdown +++ Part 3: Energy efficiency is too expensive? No way!

Aug. 3, 2021
None

According to Axel Bretzke from Hochschule Biberach, the statistics have been showing a clear trend for years: energy-efficient building has specifically lower construction costs than building to the legal standard. Bull’s eye! Find out the reasons why, on Saturday, September 11, 2021 in Axel Bretzke's contribution to Session 5 at the 25th International Passive House Conference

Energy efficiency is too expensive? No way!

In this lecture, a frequently mentioned prejudice will be thoroughly cleared up: Energy-efficient building is too expensive! Not at all!

Axel Bretzke from Biberach University of Applied Sciences shows that project participants who settle for lower building efficiency not only harm climate protection, but also do themselves no favors! According to Bretzke, the statistics have been showing a clear trend for years: energy-efficient building has specifically lower construction costs than building to the legal standard. Bull’s eye!
Price driver is not the energy standard of a building, but those are the costs for the land, the building design, the equipment, the accessibility, parking spaces etc.
On Saturday, September 11, 2021 Axel Bretzke contributes in session 5 "Energy consulting in Germany" of the 25th International Passive House Conference.
