2025 Passive House Open Days – That’s a Wrap!

Across the globe, we celebrated the Passive House standard with over 20 UK projects and 16 US projects, as well as numerous events in countries around the world.

In Australia, 35 hosts welcomed more than 1,000 visitors to explore buildings built to the Passive House Standard. With over 80 guided tours across multiple climate zones, attendees had the chance to see how Passive House principles support energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and occupant comfort. In the UK, over 20 projects, from new builds to deep retrofits, demonstrated how Passive House homes deliver calm, warm, and energy-efficient comfort even in cold weather. Attendees gained practical insights through tours, hands-on demonstrations, and direct conversations with homeowners, architects, and builders, highlighting the growing relevance of high-performance and retrofit projects across the UK.

These are just a few reflections from this year’s international event, made possible by the many hosts, visitors, and affiliates who continue to share their knowledge and experience. We appreciate everyone who took part.

The next International Passive House Open Days will take place November 13–15, 2026—we look forward to another opportunity to connect and learn together!
