This course is designed to complement our online training courses, and is ideal for those who have completed our Certified Passivhaus Designer or Certified Passivhaus Tradesperson courses. (Discounts available for Coaction Training alumni).

Apply your learning in a practical setting and explore the reality of delivering Passivhaus projects onsite.

During the day our hands-on group activities will give you rapid upskilling in:

• Designing for construction: what’s really needed to get it right and what are the consequences of not doing it well
• How to assess the risks in a design.
• What can go wrong, how to avoid it, and remedial work; learn from our experience and mistakes!
• What good looks like: airtightness, insulation and more.
• What it takes to achieve airtightness.
• Impact of sequencing and material choices on build quality.

Bringing together designers and Tier 1 contractors,  led by experienced practitioners, our practical session builds on the theory covered in those courses and allows participants to explore the realities of delivery.

Participants will be taught by a team of selected practicing professionals at the forefront of Net Zero and energy-efficient buildings, who will share their knowledge of best practice and how to solve onsite challenges.
