"Intro to PHPP 10: New features and developments" The Passive House Project Planning Package (PHPP) can be used to calculate the energy requirements of a building reliably. The tenth version of the PHPP is now also available in an English language version. At this iPHA Webinar, Jürgen Schnieders from the Passive House Institute explains all the new developments and features in the latest version of the PHPP. This iPHA member webinar will last approximately 90 minutes and is worth 2 Passive House Continuous Education (CEPH) credit points. The tenth version of the PHPP contains helpful new add ons and innovative new features for the energy balancing of highly efficient buildings. The calculation of heat pumps has been improved for PHPP 10, and split devices are now included as well. Another new feature is a stress test for summer comfort, which is helpful for planning buildings in an already noticeably shifting climate. The programme also simplifies the input of more complex windows and improves the algorithm for heat losses through the ground. Furthermore, the new version features a new sheet for calculating characteristic values with measured data, which also supports the assessment of deviations.
