As Passivhaus continues to grow, the Passivhaus Institute has introduced new categories for its building certification; in addition to the established ‘Passivhaus Classic’, there are the ‘Passivhaus Plus’ and ‘Passivhaus Premium’ which include the use of renewable energy generation in the certification assessment.
