Greenbuild and the APHN Passive House Zone, San Fransisco, Nov 14 - 16 This year's Passive House Days will be followed by Greenbuild, the USGBC Annual Conference, where iPHA's Sarah Mekjian and PHI's Benjamin Krick will be present with the American Passive House Network at its Passive House Zone in the Greenbuild exhibition area. iPHA's Affiliate organization, Passive House California, will be hosting a series of events to promote the Passive House Standard in conjunction with the Zone, encouraging all green building enthusiasts to learn about this high performance building method. Passive House Institute Window Certification Workshop, Nov 16 The Passive House Institute, in cooperation with APHN, will hold its first ever Window Certification Workshop with the aim of bringing out the vast potential and need for North American window manufacturers to build and certify Passive House Windows. Here PHI will introduce a new certification process whereby local NFRC-accredited simulation companies can become PHI-accredited simulators able to provide local pre-certification services and work directly with the PHI to facilitate final product certification.
