There is of course need for adjustments to the insulation thickness, windows size/quality, HRV, natural ventilation concepts and humidity control, which will result in the appropriate Passive House design for these specific climatic parameters. How to respond to those situations will be the main topic, with extra attention to hot/humid summer conditions that NYPH-er worry about –90 minutes followed by Q&A, NYPH presentation for general public (6pm) Non-residential Buildings as Passive Houses: projects worldwide (new and retrofit) Offices, schools, swimming poosl An introduction of the Passive House concept and what was learned from realized projects, followed by an overview of the many non-residential projects that have been completed since.
