Examination In passing the exam, the certificate is issued and sent to you. You will also be added to the Internet database of certified Passive House Designer www.passivhausplaner.eu.The certificate is valid for five years and may be extended. Prerequisite for the certificate ‘Certified Passive House Designer’ / ‘Certified Passive House Consultant’ According to the examination regulations for ‘Certified Passive House Designer’ you must provide prove of a relevant professional qualification. The copy of a letter (eg diploma or master’s certificate) proving this relevant professional qualification and relevant professional designation should be provided prior to sitting of the examination with Target Zero .Participants without relevant technical professional qualification may be granted the title ‘Certified Passive House Consultant’. The final decision whether the title passive house planner or Passive House Consultant is awarded is the responsibility of the Passive House Institute.
