The NESEA Building Energy Masters Series online course "introduction to Passive House Design" has been updated and renamed "Passive House Design." This update adds two weeks, during which the use of a simplified interface to Passive House Planning Package Version 8.5 - PPHP Lite - is demonstrated, to the original four week course. The participants will use PHPP Lite to design their capstone projects - a building that meets the Passive House Space Heating and Primary Energy Criteria. The goal is to give participants some high level, hands-on experience designing to these Passive House criteria without investing the time necessary to learn all the details of the full PHPP.
