Workshop "Train the Trainer" http://www.passivhaus-info.de/referentenkurs__trainer_courses.php This course provides the opportunity for all trainers of courses in the field of "Energy efficient buildings" to improve their training skills. The concept of this two-day workshop was originally developed within the framework of the EU project "CEPH - Certified European Passive House Designer". Participants in our course will be teached how to design, organise and run a seminar and which aspects are important. Prospective trainers will learn on the basis of different techniques how to impart expert knowledge in a useful and effective way. Practical exercises, active involvement of participants and exchange of experiences are an integral part of our workshop. Contents: Introduction Contents and curriculum (exemplified by the course "Certified Passive House Designer") How to work with foreign course material Working methods with a variety of presentation forms How to implement different exercises to strengthen the learning effect How to use and instruct group work How to plan a course consisting of several days How to design a single teaching unit with regard to contents and timing The Importance of learning targets How to motivate trainees and make a training fun Practical tips for using different presentation forms Instructors: The workshop will be led by two speakers focused respectively on didactics and energy efficient buildings. Target groups: The workshop is directed at trainers, lecturers, speakers or counselors of courses in the field of energy efficient buildings as well as training providers and their trainers who would like to make use of the 'Certified Passive House Designer" training material. Prerequisites: Very good knowledge and experience in the sector of energy efficient buildings. First experiences in giving lectures and seminars.
