Based on quality assurance for energy efficient buildings is the Passive House Planning Package (Treated), which was developed specifically for passive houses. Based on European standards, it is a tested and verified computational methods for determining the energy characteristics of buildings. With the help of PHPP, the required quality assurance calculations are performed simply and clearly. Included is a database of certified passive house components such as windows, glazing and ventilation systems, and simplified input functions for mapping areas with the U-values. This course provides an overview of the calculation method and provides examples with an introduction to the work methodology. Learn through lectures and practical exercises, and practice how to deal with PHPP based on a housing project. Introduction to the work methodology with PHPP Principle of the heating balance in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13790 Energy reference area, envelope, volumes Transmission heat losses Solar heat gains and impact of shading Calculation of the ventilation heat losses Influence of building air tightness Calculation of annual heating and building heating Domestic hot water demand and solar water heating Primary energy consumption for heating, hot water, supplies and household demand for electricity Summer case: temporary shading, natural and mechanical ventilation, calculation of the temperature frequency
