This course provides training in thermal bridging calculation and surface condensation risk assessment to meet the latest Irish, British and ISO Standards. It covers how to calculate linear thermal transmittances and temperature factors for building elements and 2D details and provides an introduction to 3D thermal bridge calculation. The workshop is intended for architects, engineers, insulation suppliers, system manufacturers, builders, and anyone with a focus on fabric performance and detailing. No previous experience with the software is required. Standard course fee is €400 per person, with an early bird rate of €350 if booked before 17th August. Through a collaborating funding agency, sole traders and companies registered in the Republic of Ireland may be able to avail of a reduced fee. This 2 day course equates to 13 CPD points.
